In 1986 in our country, countless deficiencies existed in the postal services in the whole national territory. The few private mail companies (dedicated mostly to the international courier) did not satisfy the diverse necessities, it motivated that two young entrepreneurs decided to found OLVA & ASSOCIATES S.R.L., a private mail company oriented to exclusively to the national mail through the mark of OLVA Service.

In 1991, OLVA & ASSOCIATES S.R.L., with the acquired experience during the lapsed years and in virtue to the gained prestige by the services offered, gets an important number of customers from diverse sectors: commercial, industrial, financial, without neglecting the special attention to our individual customer. As a response to this acceptance, a massive reception of the market is projected, this would force to enlarge very quickly the infrastructure and to implement new techniques. This motivates that a new company called ANDERSON VÁSQUEZ & CIA. S.A.C. (AVYCSAC) is constituted and assumes the obligations of the service under the trademark OLVA COURIER for covering the new investment needs for satisfaction of the customers.

In 1996, OLVA COURIER incorporates 68 offices in the national territory dedicated exclusively to offer mail services, these offices are properly equipped with the right infrastructure that allows arriving to more destinations. In Lima, capital of the country, seven offices are strategically located and properly interconnected through an on-line net via Internet. Our company also has a fleet of vehicles, trucks, vans and motorbikes not older than four years, and equipped with radial communication systems that allows a permanent communication.

OLVA COURIER has always worried about offering a better service to our customers and we have distinguished ourselves because of getting the last technological advances, this way we have incorporated bar code, electronic mail, web pages, Internet and we are working to interconnect all our customers to our computer-based system. Also we are worried about the acquisition of equipments for getting data and being able to obtain information, as fast as possible, of the service we offer (to deliver and pick up mails).

Without damages of the technological advance described above, the most important for OLVA COURIER is the human resource. Our Personnel is permanently trained looking for his individual development on the base of the consolidation of values, positive attitudes and philosophy of services which we consider will result in an excellent company.

OLVA COURIER has entered to the new millennium like a solid company that has a warehouse of 2000 square meters and six offices located in strategic districts of the capital, with more than 200 offices in the whole country and with expansion plans of medium and long term.

In the last years our personnel has been trained in institutes of grateful trajectory like the CAME and periodically there have been regional meetings and national conventions with the purpose of planning and organizing new objectives to enrich the service to the customer.
